The Akatsuki has succeeded in capturing six of the nine Bijuu in existence. Some of the Jinchuuriki that contained them were powerful ninja, now the Akatsuki has begun moving again and are seeking the rest of the Bijuu. The Bijuu that remain are Shukaku, Kyuubi and Nekomata, scattered across the world are these Jinchuuriki. characters may play from any of the villages and can fill out an application to be one of the Jichuuriki.

No two Jinchuuriki can be in the same village or even the same country. For now only the locations of Shukaku and Kyuubi are known. Shukaku's Junchuuriki is the Kazekage, and Kyuubi's is the Hokage. It is likely that Akatsuki knows this and will not be long in striking at the known two or even locating Nekomata.

However, the Akatsuki's numbers have been lessened and part of their quest is to find other skilled shinobi who share their goals to join them. The original members that remain are Zetsu, Kisame, Itachi, and Pein. Players may also fill out an application to be either one of these characters except for Itachi, or they may create their own unique character for consideration as an Akatsuki member.
